About the position
The Vice President of Operations at Genesis Healthcare is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall operations and profitability of nursing centers within a designated geographic market. This position requires a visionary leader who can identify business opportunities, drive performance, and foster a collaborative environment among various departments to enhance nursing center performance and quality ratings.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinical, census, marketing, human resources, finance, legal, and other professionals to develop strategic business plans.
- Drive performance through reward systems and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
- Create and support a continuous performance management environment, including timely communication and feedback on KPI results.
- Foster conditions for nursing center leaders to achieve outstanding state/federal survey results and optimize CMS Five Star Quality Ratings.
Requirements
- Must possess a 4-year college degree, preferably in Health Administration.
- Nursing Home Administration licensure preferred.
