About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the hospital's clinical and ancillary service programs. This position aims to align key constituency groups with the organization's strategic operating plan while managing various departments including surgical services, cath lab, EP lab, respiratory, therapies, dietary, and environmental services. The role is pivotal in shaping the future of the community health system and enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and leadership for Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
• Manage clinical and ancillary service programs and departments.
• Ensure alignment of key constituency groups with the strategic operating plan.
• Oversee surgical services, cath lab, EP lab, respiratory, therapies, dietary, and environmental services.
• Engage in leadership and management functions under the direction of the President.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related health field.
• Five years of progressive management experience in hospital and/or ambulatory care.
• Experience in tertiary level surgical services.
• Operational experience in a complex environment with multiple areas of responsibility.
