Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Provide data-driven reports to guide decision making through company KPI and internal reports
  • Ensure on-time delivery of projects to customers
  • Ensure quality inspection of each machine by applying the 4-eyes principle
  • Ensure evaluation of overall Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) readiness and equipment status accordingly
  • Foster a culture of improvement by implementing lean principles for streamlined processes
  • Manage manufacturing budgets to achieve financial targets
  • Oversee processes, capacity planning, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency, production goals, and cost reduction
  • Determine level of outsourcing for internal operations processes to meet targets
  • Collaborate with supply chain management strategies in alignment with corporate standards
  • Develop strategic plan of resources for facility management and preventive maintenance of capex
  • Plan and manage utilities and usage of facility resources e.g. conference rooms, office space in alignment with department requirements
  • Schedule and hold periodic meetings in the field of responsibility to keep employees updated
  • Provide leadership and guidance to operations heads of departments
  • Act as escalation path for areas of responsibility
  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Engineering Design and Programming and Körber Pharma companies
  • Collaborate with Operations departments of Körber Pharma companies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and be a role model for others
  • Show a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude everyday
  • Attend and participate in company meetings in person and remotely

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years management experience in manufacturing operations
  • Experience in the automation industry is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage and work in diverse teams
  • Ability to manage managers
  • Well developed presentation skills
  • Capabilities for conceptual work
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Customer relations skills with a strong customer focus
  • Knowledge of technology and engineering

  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1 - 2 year time span
