About the position

The Vice President of Operations at St. Paul's Senior Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of various senior living facilities, including residential care and skilled nursing. This position involves managing Executive Directors and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to residents while driving operational excellence and community engagement. The VP of Operations will also play a key role in developing new housing initiatives and enhancing the overall resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Executive Directors and Directors of assigned operational areas.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential care facilities and skilled nursing.
• Drive recruitment, training, and retention of leadership staff.
• Establish and evaluate performance metrics for Executive Directors and Directors.
• Develop and manage vendor and internal relationships to support strategic objectives.
• Guide budget preparation and financial management for community operations.
• Monitor risk management activities and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to communities within the assigned region.
• Collaborate with COO and Senior Leadership on strategic initiatives and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Over five years of experience in affordable housing or healthcare facility administration at a senior level.
• California Licensed Nursing Home Administrator or equivalent certification required.
• Advanced knowledge of senior living operations and care services.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI.
