About the position

Singlewire Software is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize the operational functions of our team. This role is a critical part of the Senior Leadership team, working closely with the executive team to drive the company's operational strategy. The Vice President of Operations will oversee all aspects of Technical Support, Customer Success, Professional Services, Sales Operations, and Internal IT, with a strong focus on enhancing customer experience and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale operations and support organizations, with a strong emphasis on customer relationship management. In this role, you will be responsible for maturing our technical support, customer success, and sales operations management processes to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also drive revenue growth in our professional services offerings. The Vice President of Operations will develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and strategic goals. This includes streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and leading cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Additionally, you will mentor and develop leadership within the operations team, identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost efficiencies, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness. Your ability to analyze data will inform decision-making and strategic planning, ensuring that operations align with the overall business strategy. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors and partners, and leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Staying current with emerging technologies and trends in information systems will be essential to your success in this role.

  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in information systems hardware, software, applications, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience; prior Senior Operations Leadership experience required, ideally in a software/SaaS business that has scaled.
  • Prior experience with leadership over information technology support teams.
  • Experience taking the company and related applications, products, and/or services into new markets by leveraging an existing brand and market position.
  • Ability to converse with industry analysts, customers, prospects, and key partners regarding strategy and corporate direction.
  • Familiarity with Technology Services Industry Association best practices and frameworks for customer experience and customer success, or similar experience.
  • A track record of recruiting, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional management, planning, and budgeting skills.
  • A strong sense of urgency and ownership over projects and deliverables.
