About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (MSPB) is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the organization's medical practice locations. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and operational efficiency. The VP will collaborate with executive leadership to align operational objectives with strategic goals, while also fostering a supportive work environment for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct daily operations across MSPB's medical facilities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve healthcare delivery quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and operational objectives.
  • Create and evaluate policies and procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain proactive operational practices.
  • Foster communication with staff to resolve operational challenges and promote morale.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and cost containment initiatives.
  • Provide updates to senior management on operational trends and challenges.
  • Collaborate with departments to address operational issues.
  • Lead responses to potential regulatory violations and execute investigative procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare data management and clinical applications.
  • Experience working directly with Primary Care Physicians required; Subspecialty preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
