About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple business units, including a winery, vineyard, hotel, and event operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor managers across multiple units to ensure high performance and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue across all operational units, including increasing occupancy, wine sales, and event bookings.
  • Ensure smooth, efficient operations with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality control, and adherence to company standards.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize profitability.
  • Serve as the public face of the brand, ensuring a positive guest experience and maintaining strong community relations.
  • Manage complex operations across several business units, focusing on standardizing processes while customizing guest experiences.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional service, supporting a family-friendly work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years in senior operations leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality, winery, or multi-unit restaurant/retail industries.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams across multiple locations or units.
  • Strong experience driving revenue through strategic planning, sales initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
