About the position

Eagan Insurance is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize the company's day-to-day operations. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all operational activities align with the company's strategic goals, driving efficiency, productivity, and excellence across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational functions, including underwriting, claims processing, customer service, and IT.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall company performance.
• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align operational activities with long-term company goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, identifying areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational departments, fostering innovation and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor department managers, providing guidance on performance management, goal setting, and professional development.
• Analyze operational performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning for the operations division.
• Enhance the customer experience by ensuring high-quality service delivery across all touchpoints.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to streamline operations and improve service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in operations management, with a focus on the insurance industry.
• Proven leadership experience in a senior operations role, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with operational software and systems relevant to the insurance industry.
