About the position

The Vice President of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing project management from contract signing to invoicing. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, coordinate with various internal departments, and ensure effective communication with customers. The role demands flexibility to adapt to changing priorities aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create work orders for confirmed jobs
  • Compile scopes of work for multi-location projects
  • Gather necessary renderings, site plans and photos
  • Submit permitting and utilities requests
  • Effectively communicate with sales reps, office staff, outside crew installation techs and customers
  • Maintain status of assigned projects
  • Keep up with installation schedule and installation requests
  • Manage invoicing for assigned jobs, including obtaining tax, permit and procurement costs, emailing invoices, and gathering completion photos and customer sign-off paperwork.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management in a construction environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field of study or applicable experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects and tasks with changing requirements and strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel & Word)
