About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Associa is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic vision and planning of a branch within the organization. This position entails a comprehensive approach to leadership, management, and operational oversight, ensuring that the branch aligns with the overall goals and objectives of Associa. The Vice President will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, presenting a professional image to the public while managing both short- and long-term goals effectively. Given the diverse nature of the branches, the specific duties may vary, but the core responsibilities remain focused on enhancing operational efficiency and stakeholder engagement. In this role, the Vice President will oversee various branches, each with unique structures and operational needs. This includes direct supervision of branch-level management, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. The Vice President will also be responsible for budget management, fiscal oversight, and maintaining the financial health of the branch. This includes monitoring performance against overarching goals and initiatives, establishing positive relationships with stakeholders, and assisting in the management of strategic planning and business development efforts at the branch level. The Vice President will also be tasked with other duties as assigned, which may include developing new operational strategies, enhancing community engagement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role is essential for driving the success of the branch and contributing to the overall mission of Associa to build thriving communities across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight in general operations of the branch.
  • Monitor performance of overarching goals and initiatives for the branch.
  • Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and other vendors at the branch level.
  • Assist with management of strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations at the branch level.
  • Supervise branch level management and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Assist with budget and fiscal management to maintain financial health of the branch.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Expert level knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all duties.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Master of Business Administration Degree Preferred.
  • 10+ years of directly related or closely related experience.
  • 7 - 10 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.
  • 7 - 10 years of Community Association experience.
