About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Lotus Concepts Management is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational excellence of the company's restaurant venues. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving profitability while maintaining brand identity. The VP will also play a crucial role in strategic growth planning and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assume a hands-on approach in day-to-day operations and support at all locations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and strengthen brand identity.
  • Maximize profits, control costs, and assist stores in maintaining labor goals.
  • Craft strategic growth plans aligning with the company's overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and restaurant teams to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
  • Lead by example, embodying the culture of Lotus Concepts Management.
  • Innovate and introduce new menu items and concepts.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent who embody the company culture.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure consistency in product quality and pricing.
  • Provide guidance and support to restaurant management and staff.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Build positive relationships with community and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide on-site support to resolve operational challenges and seize opportunities.
  • Research and recommend new markets for expansion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive restaurant management experience.
  • Experience in successfully creating and growing a restaurant concept/brand.
  • Experience as a multi-location operator is highly desirable.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial statements and control costs.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving ability in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management systems.
