About the position

The Vice President of Operations at LDC Stone is responsible for leading and managing the company's operations across six locations in the U.S. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing supply chain management initiatives. The VP will implement process improvements and manage the budget for supply chain operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage company-wide operations of a stone import and manufacturing company.
• Develop strategic alliances and partnerships.
• Oversee operations department regulatory compliance.
• Plan and develop initiatives and policies for procurement and supply chain management.
• Direct distribution chain and logistical activities of the supply chain.
• Create and implement SIOP model.
• Lead implementation of MRPs and forecast systems for facility manufacturing and distribution systems.
• Lead process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement integrated supply systems.
• Transform global supply chain operations through simplification and cost productivity projects.
• Plan, develop, and implement supply chain budget.
• Review operating performance with quality, cost, and service metrics.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in financial, supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, and distribution management of engineered and natural stone.
