About the position

The Vice President of Organizational Operations (VPOO) at Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse is responsible for overseeing and implementing essential operational areas such as financial management, facilities coordination, IT, compliance, and grant management. This role is crucial in advancing organizational goals, fostering a healthy workplace culture, and ensuring that anti-racism and equity principles are integrated into all operations. The VPOO is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working to align internal processes with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, facilities coordination, and IT operations.
• Implement compliance and grant management processes.
• Ensure alignment of internal processes with organizational mission and values.
• Foster a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
• Monitor and evaluate organizational progress and effectiveness.
• Engage with external stakeholders and represent the organization in various committees and events.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit or human services organizations.
• Experience overseeing organizational operations and functions.
• Expertise in domestic violence and community violence issues.
• Knowledge of financial management procedures and funding systems.
• Ability to confront oppressive behaviors and promote equity.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in large, complex systems and organizations.
