About the position

The Regional Drayage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple terminals, providing leadership to Terminal Managers, and ensuring efficient operations across all locations. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong drayage background and business acumen to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide support to Terminal Managers across multiple locations, overseeing the performance and smooth operation of each terminal.
• Utilize business insights to identify and address high-level operational issues, formulating and implementing effective solutions.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to terminals to ensure standards and expectations are met.
• Oversee P&L reporting, ensuring financial targets are met and identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and revenue growth.
• Operate within an asset-based framework, focusing on company-owned drivers, trucks, and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong background in drayage and terminal operations with hands-on experience managing multiple locations.
• Proven track record in a similar role within an asset-based organization.
• Business administration skills, particularly in P&L management.
• Ability to take a high-level approach while also diving into on-the-ground operations.
• Self-motivated and hardworking, capable of operating independently without a large support team.
