About the position

The Vice President of Regional Operations (RVPO) is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the assigned market, which includes staffing, business development, and financial performance. This senior management role requires strong leadership skills and ethical practices, aligning with the core values of Vital HealthCare Solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-site management and expertise in long-term care, with extensive travel required within the market.

Responsibilities

• Supervise providers within the market
• Communicate and enforce company policies
• Provide team building and support for Vital Healthcare providers
• Schedule Vital HealthCare providers with facility partners
• Hire, orient, and provide ongoing supervision to providers
• Prepare performance appraisals for direct reports
• Manage the budget of the market
• Correlate clinical excellence to financial outcomes
• Maintain proactive communication with Executive Leadership
• Grow the current footprint and expand lines of service
• Maximize market saturation
• Facilitate resources to enhance facility productivity and financial outcomes
• Serve as the chief point of contact with partners for customer service and patient care

Requirements

• Extensive travel within the market
• Ability to manage and prioritize multi-facility, specialty, and provider needs
• Experience managing Master and Doctorate level providers
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent proactive verbal and written communication skills
• Keen understanding of long-term care reimbursement and regulations
• Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities accordingly
• Proven leadership within long-term care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team
• Experience and knowledge with KPI and P&L is a plus
