About the position

The Vice President of Restaurant Operations at Fine Dining Restaurant Group is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all facets of the company's restaurant and retail shop operations. This position requires a strategic leader who can develop and implement effective operational strategies that align with the company's goals. The VP of Ops will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that all restaurants maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, while also driving revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role is not just about managing day-to-day operations; it involves fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement among a large team of over 250 employees. The VP will be instrumental in identifying revenue opportunities and executing initiatives that enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring that the company remains an employer of choice in the industry. In addition to operational management, the VP will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. This includes implementing new technologies and processes that can streamline operations and improve efficiency. The role also involves collaborating on the opening of new locations, ensuring that these new establishments are smoothly integrated into the existing operations. The VP of Restaurant Operations will play a key role in shaping the future of the company, driving innovation and growth within the restaurant operations, and ensuring that all team members are aligned with the company's vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain status as employer of choice.
  • Identify and execute revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Lead and inspire our entire restaurant team (250+ people) to achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and accountability.
  • Responsible to COO for profit and loss.
  • Oversee daily operations of all locations to ensure high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Monitor guest feedback and address issues promptly.
  • Ensure that all restaurants deliver exceptional service and maintain high guest satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within the restaurant operations.
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance operations.
  • Collaborate on the opening of new locations and ensure smooth integration into the existing operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant operations management at a senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team.
