About the position

The Vice President of Retail Operations will play a crucial role in leading and shaping the operations of a well-established retail organization in Northeast Ohio. This position is designed for a dynamic leader who will drive operational excellence across multiple retail locations, ensuring the company's growth and success while fostering a values-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality performance across all retail locations, implementing policies that drive efficiency and growth.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's long-term goals.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to meet and exceed business objectives while ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority, continuously improving the customer experience through innovative service delivery.
  • Uphold and promote the company's core values, building local relationships and maintaining a forward-thinking approach to business challenges.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in an executive or senior management role, preferably in retail operations.
  • Deep understanding of retail operations, with a preference for experience in the hardware sector.
  • Proven experience managing complex budgets with strong financial oversight capabilities.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an MBA or related master's degree is preferred.
