About the position

The Vice President of Revenue Operations at Betterworks is a strategic leadership role focused on optimizing revenue generation and retention processes. This position requires a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and supporting scalable growth through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making. The VP will oversee all aspects of revenue operations, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success to maximize revenue growth and enhance performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue operations strategies that align with business goals and drive sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and partnerships teams to ensure cohesive execution of revenue strategies and initiatives.
  • Utilize data analytics to provide insights into sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management, establishing KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement best practices in revenue processes, including lead/pipeline management, territory planning, compensation plans, and establishing performance standards for sales, marketing, SDR, and customer success teams.
  • Oversee the optimization of Betterworks' revenue technology stack (Salesforce, marketing automation, analytics tools, prospecting tools) to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing revenue operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Work closely with Revenue leadership and finance to develop revenue forecasts and budgets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience; mentoring and developing business operations professionals in sales, marketing, and customer success ops.
  • Proven success in scaling Revenue operations in a high-growth technology start-up environment (ideally SaaS).
  • Expertise in optimizing the usage of Salesforce.com CRM, marketing automation and demand gen tools, and Customer Success technology.
  • Experience in analytics, territory modeling, TAM modeling, compensation plans, and quota modeling.
  • High motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work closely with Executive leadership with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
