About the position

The Vice President of Revenue & Performance Marketing at ActiveCampaign is responsible for building and driving the marketing growth engine of the company. This role involves developing and executing a full-funnel performance investment strategy in collaboration with the CMO and key go-to-market (GTM) partners. The position requires extensive experience in creating innovative cross-channel GTM programs and managing a high-performing marketing team to optimize customer experience and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Develop effective go-to-market strategies in collaboration with brand, product marketing, and revenue peers.
  • Plan, build, execute, and optimize prioritized growth programs with revenue and product partners.
  • Drive continuous partnership with cross-functional GTM leaders to enhance business performance.
  • Report on marketing performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Collaborate with the CMO and other marketing executives to refine investment strategies.
  • Develop integrated and creative campaigns across paid and owned channels.
  • Enhance customer experience across all touchpoints to improve conversion and brand affinity.
  • Act as a culture leader, showcasing ActiveCampaign values.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in Marketing or related field with 8+ years in people leadership.
  • Experience in SaaS and MarTech or adjacent industries.
  • Experience leading diverse marketing sub-teams, including paid, owned, and partner marketing teams.
  • Ability to balance data-informed approaches with creative marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing investment performance and its impact on business objectives.
  • Expert knowledge of owned and paid channel strategies throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Superb communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to plan, build, execute, and optimize programs with revenue and product partners.
  • Experience in both SMB and Enterprise B2B is preferred.
