About the position

The VP of Sales and Marketing at Fontaine Specialized will play a crucial role in driving sales strategies, expanding market presence, and ensuring the company's growth and profitability. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, product segments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the company president.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the heavy-duty trailer manufacturing industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong market analysis skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
