About the position

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Construction Innovations is a key leadership role focused on driving profitable growth and expanding the company's market presence in the utility-scale solar and electrical systems sectors. This position requires a dynamic sales professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing, capable of leading high-performing teams and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's offerings and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and coaching
  • Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for measuring progress
  • Manage critical negotiations with key stakeholders, clients, and partners
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to drive sales growth and enhance the company's market position
  • Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to identify new product solutions
  • Build and maintain industry relationships
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of sales and marketing experience with proven leadership skills
  • Ability to leverage a network of clients and relationships to develop opportunities in the utility-scale PV, storage and/or infrastructure markets
  • Ability to evaluate market trends, emerging technology, and competitive intelligence to develop strategy
  • Ability to strategize and negotiate complex sales deals
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and their components is a plus
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Salesforce, and project management software
