About the position

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability for the company. This position involves developing and executing effective sales, marketing, and business development strategies while collaborating closely with the Global CEO and board. The VP will oversee all revenue-generating activities in the U.S., focusing on technology sales and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development growth efforts and ensure profitability in the US market, particularly in technology sales.
  • Accountable for the strategic direction of the company in collaboration with the Global CEO.
  • Build and improve relationships with key target markets, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to support the sales team, monitor performance, and implement strategies to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track sales revenue performance and effectiveness.
  • Report revenue targets, sales pipeline, and progress towards goals to the Global CEO and Board.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer success, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Foster a sales culture of urgency and agility across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related area.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the SaaS/technology industry in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams with exceptional decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a clear and effective business strategy.
  • Strong financial skills and acumen with the ability to drive profitability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to embrace and drive innovation.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, ensuring revenue strategies align with customer experience.
  • Strong commitment to achieving and exceeding revenue targets on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
