About the position

The Vice President of Sales Operations will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing sales processes, developing the sales team, and optimizing lead development to increase revenue. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on sales administration, requiring expertise in high-end sales environments, particularly in luxury real estate. The VP will collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement effective marketing strategies and lead the external Sales Referral Partner program.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all sales operations, including process optimization, CRM management, sales data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Manage sales pipeline and closing processes.
  • Train, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals to maximize performance and cultivate a results-driven culture.
  • Develop onboarding and training programs for sales advisors.
  • Implement effective training programs focused on prospecting, lead qualification, client management, and deal closing.
  • Drive a strategic approach to lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align resources and initiatives that support sales goals, including campaign design and content creation.
  • Establish and cultivate a network of outside sales referral partners to drive inbound referrals.
  • Monitor and analyze key sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable strategies.
  • Develop short- and long-term sales plans aligned with the company's business objectives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in sales operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a Director or Vice President role, ideally within luxury real estate or a comparable sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead development strategies, and prospecting techniques.
  • Skilled in CRM systems, sales forecasting, and performance metrics, with the ability to analyze data to drive strategy and process improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience working closely with marketing and executive teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
