About the position

L2 Brands is one of the largest manufacturers of decorated sportswear in the country and is seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to help grow its strategic accounts. The VP of Strategic Accounts plays a vital role in building relationships and developing growth plans that promote increased market share. This position involves working closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations teams. Key components of this role include excellent product presentations, assortment planning, art suggestions, timely order entry, and order due date management, as well as fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Growing sales at each strategic account while maintaining gross margins
  • Building strong relationships with the Buyers responsible for making purchase decisions and executing on each account's buy plans
  • Producing sales revenue projections, tracking, and comparing to budget
  • Managing strategic account team members
  • Leading biweekly customer-facing meetings focused on business planning
  • Communicating updates to relevant internal departments
  • Leading internal planning meetings, including design and graphics, procurement and inventory management, production capacity and fulfillment, shipping and logistics, merchandising and marketing, and ownership of key account pricing builds
  • Leveraging POS and other market data to build a strong understanding of market trends
  • Training and assisting strategic account program managers to share product and art-related suggestions with design and merch teams to build winning collections for strategic account partners
  • Researching competitive offerings
  • Identifying, orchestrating, and implementing technology opportunities with strategic account customers

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced level Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, business intelligence reporting, PLM, CRM, and Power BI experience
  • Mastery of L2 product line offering and understanding of product development, manufacturing, and decorating processes
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, customers, and vendors
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Business intelligence reporting experience
  • CRM experience preferred
  • 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing team environment
  • Apparel industry experience a plus
