About the position

The Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Clemens Food Group is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic management of purchasing, production scheduling, customer service, and sales & operations planning teams. This position plays a critical role in achieving company objectives by fostering collaboration across departments and driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing systems and building scalable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams in Purchasing, Production Scheduling, Customer Service, and Sales & Operations Planning, ensuring seamless goal execution and collaboration.
  • Develop and manage KPIs to support company objectives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Establish a 5-year roadmap to optimize systems and technology, driving efficiency and reducing manual processes.
  • Build strong cross-departmental partnerships to enhance decision-making and drive sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of supply chain management experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on problem-solving and issue resolution.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, preferably in manufacturing or food production environments.
  • Strategic thinking ability that balances long-term vision with hands-on problem-solving experience.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Procurement.
