About the position
The Vice President of Talent at Firefighters First Credit Union will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to enhance employee professional growth and ensure exceptional service delivery to firefighters and their families. This role involves overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of the workforce, while fostering an environment of career growth and development. The Vice President will build a comprehensive Talent Management Program aligned with the organization's strategic goals and growth plans, integrating a learning-curated curriculum that includes leadership training and soft skills enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategies for employee professional growth.
- Oversee recruitment strategy to attract high-caliber candidates.
- Implement best practices for onboarding and employee development.
- Build a comprehensive Talent Management Program aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure the right talent is in place.
- Integrate a learning-curated University curriculum into employee development programs.
- Design and implement training sessions and team-building activities.
- Advocate for organizational needs while supporting the mission and core values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience designing learning solutions and conducting organizational development interventions.
- Experience facilitating training sessions and team building.
- Exceptional leadership skills in designing and implementing employee development solutions.

- Certification as a Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
