About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Integer is responsible for leading and managing a subset of manufacturing facilities within a specific product category. The role focuses on achieving operational excellence, ensuring zero quality defects, 100% on-time delivery, and continuous productivity improvements. The VP will oversee a team of Directors of Operations, develop and execute manufacturing strategies, and contribute to the Integer Production System while maintaining strong customer relationships and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to manufacturing facilities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage a team of Directors of Operations to oversee factory operations including safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, focusing on talent selection, development, and succession planning.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion across manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop customer relationships and support business development activities.
  • Coordinate facility operations including manufacturing, asset utilization, and inventory control.
  • Lead the annual budget planning process and ensure financial goals are met.
  • Champion Integer's Quality Policy and ensure adherence to quality standards across the Product Category.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean management practices.
  • Participate in the review and approval of new business opportunities and product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of senior operations management experience in advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in multiple plant leadership is required.
  • Familiarity with medical device manufacturing and regulated environments is a strong asset.
  • Proven track record of managing technical employees and delivering high-quality products on time and on budget.
  • Experience with ISO standards and FDA regulations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with understanding of P&L and balance sheet.

  • Experience in developing and sustaining products in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of lean management methods and continuous improvement practices.
