About the position

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading operations teams and enhancing customer relationships across multiple sites. This role involves managing significant customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer account relationships with revenues exceeding $100 million.
• Serve as the focal point for customer issues, ensuring resolution and high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee project management and implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, reduce costs, and enhance customer value.
• Maintain P&L accountability and consistent high-level operating metrics across multiple locations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics operational management.
• Experience managing multiple facilities and fleet management with 150 power units.
• Proven track record in process management and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on maintaining high service levels.
• Demonstrated ability in customer issue resolution and business development.

Nice-to-haves

• Sigma or other quality certifications.
• Experience in executive positions within a corporate setting.
