About the position

The Vice President, Pavilion Business Operations/Chief Staffing Officer at Harris Health System is responsible for overseeing finance, business operations, and staffing functions within the Pavilion. Reporting to the Pavilion Executive Vice President, this role focuses on enhancing productivity, developing business plans for strategic initiatives, and leading finance education programs for Pavilion leaders. The position requires close collaboration with the System Finance functions and emphasizes the management of financial and operational analytics to optimize Pavilion operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and business staff and processes within the Pavilion.
• Lead activities to monitor, assess, and influence productivity as the Chief Staffing Officer.
• Support oversight work related to the assigned medical school and proposals or initiatives under consideration by Harris Health.
• Develop and lead business plans for new and/or strategic initiatives for the Pavilion.
• Create and implement finance education and training programs for Pavilion leaders.
• Manage financial and operational analytics to maximize Pavilion operations.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration required.
• Fifteen (15) years of work experience in finance and/or business operations required.
• Ten (10) years of management experience in a complex environment required, preferably in healthcare.
• Above average verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts to the workforce.
• Exceptional public speaking skills.
