About the position
The Vice President of Product Management II at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is responsible for leading the Treasury Services team in developing and managing digital products that meet client needs. This role emphasizes customer engagement, product strategy, and innovation within the financial services sector, ensuring that the products delivered are of the highest quality and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.
- Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Treasury Services Digital Product.
- Lead the product development process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Create strategies for product roll-out, ensuring safe releases and effective testing.
- Stay updated on trends and innovations in financial technology to drive product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is desirable.
- 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, including web and mobile applications, APIs, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Experience leading a team of product managers and working within an agile framework.
