About the position

The Vice President of Portfolio Operations will play a pivotal role in a well-established private equity firm that has a remarkable history and a strong portfolio of investments. With over $30 billion in assets under management, the firm has consistently achieved top-quartile returns on its last two funds, demonstrating its effectiveness in the private equity space. The Vice President will be instrumental in leading value-creation initiatives within the firm's existing portfolio companies, collaborating closely with executive management teams to enhance operational efficiencies and drive growth. This position requires a strategic mindset, as the Vice President will also be involved in shaping the investment thesis and company positioning during the due diligence process for new investments. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a robust background in strategy consulting, with a minimum of three years of post-MBA experience. Additionally, candidates should have at least three years of experience in a cross-functional leadership role within relevant industries such as software, financial services, healthcare, technology, or business services. While an MBA is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of portfolio companies and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Responsibilities
