About the position

The Vice President Product Delivery Manager - Digital Channels is responsible for shaping the future of product delivery by crafting solutions that enhance and optimize customer experiences. This role involves leading end-to-end product delivery processes, managing dependencies, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful implementations. As a key member of the team, the individual will create efficiencies and oversee the operationalization of products, ensuring adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting.
  • Manage change management activities across functional partners to improve adherence to risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively manage timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers and ensuring adequate resourcing.
  • Head the Area Product Group PMO team, coordinating various product, design, analytics, and technical personnel during all initiative phases.
  • Manage delivery for the portfolio with oversight throughout execution to review success based on scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Develop a portfolio of demand projects, understanding the roadmap or book of work within the portfolio.
  • Define the scope of projects, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities.
  • Good understanding of delivery and experience in implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, including deployment processes and strategies.
  • Ability to work within Agile methodology utilizing JIRA, with a full understanding of the Initiative life cycle and ability to build JIRA dashboards and pull data.
  • High level understanding of financial services technology, mobile native application programming, Adobe Experience Manager, and system design.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills, demonstrating personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of mobile componentization, distributed development model, APIs, database, frameworks, and system design.
  • Experience with Apple App Store, TestFlight, Google Play, and the mobile native Beta process.
  • Experience working with multi-level management and groups.
