About the position

The Vice President - Product Management at Mastercard will lead the Cybersecurity team in developing and managing innovative cyber risk management products. This senior leadership role involves overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives. The position requires a strong focus on P&L management, client engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption and product profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers and data scientists to foster innovation and strategic thinking.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Collaborate with product platform, technology, and data science teams to maintain a robust development roadmap.
  • Build and manage a dynamic product pipeline in alignment with business objectives and market demands.
  • Oversee the transition of products from development to operational phases, ensuring KPIs are met and documentation is complete.
  • Maintain accountability for the full product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in product conceptualization, design, development, and commercialization.
  • Deep expertise in risk management, data analytics, and payment services.
  • Demonstrated success in managing personally identifiable information (PII) data and understanding regulatory compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, and NIST.
  • Strong understanding of payments and payment processing ecosystems.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A successful track record of building strategic relationships with internal teams and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams across multiple projects and geographies.
  • Proven experience in developing and evaluating high-impact product portfolios in cybersecurity or financial services.
