The Vice President of Product Management at Penn Medicine is a newly established role focused on leading product management initiatives within the healthcare sector. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, product design and development, customer engagement, and innovation in healthcare data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop a vision and product roadmap for data and AI as a service based on internal customer needs.
- Articulate the vision for product management and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Design and develop products to achieve specific outcomes based on customer feedback and business objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs across various domains including quality, patient experience, and finance.
- Build and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering a positive culture and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Take ownership of hands-on product management work when necessary to ensure successful product development.
- Drive innovation and excellence in the organization by incorporating industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- 10+ years' experience in healthcare, preferably with hospital and ambulatory operations, clinical informatics, and healthcare administration.
- 5+ years of experience leading product management organizations, delivering measurable ROI, and successfully scaling product implementation.
