About the position

As a Vice President, Product Manager in the Distributed Capabilities team at Chase, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product innovation and delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients. This position involves guiding the end-to-end product life cycle, acting as the voice of the customer, and developing profitable products that provide customer value. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and maintain a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Shapes the product vision after identifying the problems to solve within an ambiguous environment
  • Clearly and effectively communicates the product vision and how to get there across the organization for all levels
  • Coordinates across a multitude of teams to deliver the roadmap by key dates
  • Navigates a complex organization and can bring relevant parties together to plan for, align to and reach shared goals
  • Understanding of digital channels, digital users and can design processes and products to support teams building digital experiences for our customers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Deep understanding of digital web and mobile products and internal products to support those digital channels
  • Has designed or built internal tools to streamline efficiencies
  • Has experience with larger scale migration of ownership or tools
  • Has led larger scale projects and coordination between projects RACI
  • Worked across many teams and a variety of skillsets

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Is able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Understands and appreciates regulated industries and how to incorporate those requirements into digital products
  • Experience crafting the strategy, vision and roadmap for a new digital product
