About the position

The Vice President, Product Marketing Manager at BNY is a pivotal role within the North America Distribution Marketing Team in Investments. This position focuses on creating impactful marketing content for BNY's investment products, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a consistent and compelling message that resonates with financial intermediaries. The role requires a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, capital markets, and industry trends to drive client acquisition and retention effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of timely market and portfolio content to commercialize BNY's investment products.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and identify products' unique value propositions in collaboration with Product Strategy and Sales.
  • Write clearly and creatively to produce impactful content for various channels including print, digital, and social media.
  • Develop a deep understanding of partner firms and platforms to provide input on marketing plans.
  • Identify industry, advisor, and investor trends to enhance the BNY client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine the best marketing strategies for lead and sales generation.
  • Evaluate input from various stakeholders to optimize content and ensure alignment with priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a marketing or investment sales role.
  • Subject matter expertise in alternatives and/or model portfolios is preferable.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence leadership.
  • Results-driven with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and present them visually.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong experience in PowerPoint and working knowledge of Excel.
