About the position

The Vice President, Product, Pricing and Analytics at Allstate will oversee all aspects of product management, focusing on the design, delivery, and maintenance of core commercial products. This role involves leading a diverse team to drive innovative product development and pricing strategies, ensuring the long-term growth of Allstate Benefits. The position requires a strong emphasis on collaboration, accountability, and the cultivation of a culture of innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive all aspects of product management including the design, delivery, and maintenance of core commercial products.
  • Research, identify, and develop new products and services that meet the current and emerging needs of commercial customers.
  • Create profitable growth through line management, pricing, actuarial, and state management.
  • Investigate marketplace trends and partner with operations to implement new ideas and strategies for competitive advantage.
  • Instill a culture of innovation, performance, and accountability in the business unit.
  • Build a strong talent management capability to develop existing employees and attract top professionals.
  • Accountability for country-wide product portfolios across self-enrolled and worksite voluntary benefits.
  • Lead geographically dispersed and remote teams, driving results through effective virtual leadership.
  • Motivate and provide leadership to team members, ensuring proper allocation of resources to priority deliverables.

Requirements

  • Wealth of experience in voluntary benefits, including supplemental accident and health products.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build relationships and lead large teams of 100+ employees.
  • Strong background in actuarial capabilities and strategic pricing strategies for Voluntary Benefits.
  • Ability to manage and oversee operating plans, budgets, cash flow, and business finances.
  • Experience in organizational change management for a rapidly evolving organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree in business or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in actuarial, underwriting, distribution, marketing, service, and claims.
