About the position

The Product Specialist ('PS') Team creates, updates and disseminates information, messaging and materials for investor communications initiatives and assists Marketing in developing information, messaging and communications materials for other audiences. The Team works with Firm leadership, other Investor Partners Group ('IPG') Teams, Direct Lending and Broadly Syndicated Loans, Structured Finance, Fund Accounting and Compliance to create and disseminate information that is timely, accurate, on-brand and on-message. In addition, the Team assists Business Development in technical discussions with potential and current investors. The Team also frequently develops and / or presents content for investor-oriented presentations, panels and speaking opportunities. The Separately Managed Account ('SMA') Team within PS is responsible for managing separately managed account and fund-of-one clients for the Firm. The SMA Team are subject matter experts for the account investment guidelines and ensure compliance with the clients' investment agreements. The team also compiles customized reporting for SMA clients and ensures timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Becoming an expert in each client's investment guidelines and regularly reviewing deal and portfolio-level data to ensure the Firm is complying with the client's investment management agreement
  • Assisting with onboarding new accounts and coordinating with IPG and internal partners to identify and document account-specific requirements
  • Developing a process to identify event triggers that may impact the separately managed account portfolios and proactively communicating any impacts to clients
  • Participating in monthly and quarterly calls with investors by providing market updates and relevant portfolio performance updates
  • Daily coordination with various internal teams to ensure Investment Guideline compliance and new account onboarding
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and working with Technology Solutions on automation projects
  • Review reporting SMA client deliverables for accuracy and completeness
  • Leveraged finance / private credit deal background and knowledge will be used to properly assess SMA eligibility for transactions, reporting accuracy, and provide individual credit performance updates to SMA clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, CFA is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience within investment management, private credit experience strongly preferred
  • Previous credit investment or leveraged finance experience is ideal, coupled with strong understanding of portfolio and deal-level data
  • Detailed understanding of fund terms and structures
  • Experience maintaining relationships with separately managed account clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
  • Client-centric approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding client experiences and solutions
  • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

  • Base salary range for this position will be $170,000 to $220,000
