About the position

The Vice President of Product at Flipside will play a crucial role in building and leading the product organization during a significant growth phase. This position involves collaborating with the founder team to develop a world-class product strategy that aligns with the needs of both the analyst community and project partners in the blockchain ecosystem. The VP of Product will oversee the execution of the product vision, ensuring that products meet customer growth demands while leveraging community insights and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of the product vision and align teams to priorities.
• Build and lead the product organization, evaluating and prioritizing high-priority initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, Data Science, and Sales teams to align the product roadmap with go-to-market opportunities.
• Balance the growth of the public data analytics platform with customer delivery.
• Drive innovation by leveraging community insights and AI to deliver value to partners and users.
• Maintain and enhance core analytics capabilities that power the community and organization.
• Guide the incorporation of features that amplify community insights.
• Lead the evolution of the platform to support both technical analysts and broader audiences.
• Establish frameworks for measuring and improving product success across the marketplace.
• Institute best practices for product development that support rapid innovation and platform stability.
• Scale and structure the product team, including hiring and developing product managers, designers, and researchers.
• Foster a culture of user-centered design thinking and data-driven decision making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience with 5+ years leading product teams of 3+ people.
• Track record of successfully scaling community-driven products or platforms.
• Strong background in data products, analytics platforms, or developer tools.
• Experience in web3/crypto products strongly preferred.
• Experience leading product organizations through growth stages (growing into 100-200 person companies).
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing product teams.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to partner effectively with engineering leadership.
