About the position

The Vice President, Project Management role at Research Partnership is a newly-created leadership position focused on transforming the Project Management and Fieldwork functions across US offices. This role involves collaboration with senior stakeholders to align project management practices with commercial priorities, overseeing a team of project managers and fieldwork executives, and enhancing operational capabilities to support global pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Project Management and Fieldwork teams across US offices.
  • Implement a transformation agenda for fieldwork executives to enhance their commercial and client-facing capabilities.
  • Oversee adjacent functions such as data processing and scripting.
  • Manage external supplier relationships in alignment with financial and commercial goals.
  • Line manage a team of experienced Directors and Associate Directors, along with indirect management of their reports.
  • Support client-facing responsibilities, including MSA renegotiations from an operational perspective.
  • Develop and maintain positive team performance through coaching and mentoring.
  • Create best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a senior operations role within healthcare market research, covering both qualitative and quantitative project types.
  • Experience managing direct line reports and developing project managers' capabilities.
  • Strong commercial capabilities with experience in client and supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to drive operational change and partner with senior stakeholders to align on shared goals.
  • Excellent communication skills.
