About the position

The Vice President of Thought Leadership at Prudential will lead the development of comprehensive thought leadership programs within the Retirement Strategies Business Marketing Team. This high-impact role focuses on creating strategic plans and content across various retirement areas, including Individual Annuities, Institutional Risk Transfer, and new growth markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thought leader with a strong background in retirement income, capable of driving business growth through innovative programs and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Line and Marketing leaders to implement key thought leadership programs.
  • Develop the Retirement Strategies Marketing Plan focused on thought leadership to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with internal data and analytics teams to create industry-leading research.
  • Drive actionable executions to convert engagement into high-quality marketing leads.
  • Translate complex messaging into simplified narratives for external communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years in marketing and thought leadership, preferably in retirement markets and Retail Wealth Management.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA in marketing preferred.
  • Proven track record in planning strategic messaging programs.
  • Experience in developing and executing innovative thought leadership programs.
  • Highly data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing capabilities and strong marketing storytelling skills.
  • Exceptional presentation development skills.
  • Significant exposure to the sales process and impactful marketing program implementation.
  • Experience in developing thought leadership programs that position the business as an industry leader.
  • Influencer with experience working with senior leaders and delivering executive updates.
  • Exceptional business and economic trends acumen.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Significant brand building experience through key messaging integration.
  • Experience with B2B and B2B2C marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of fintech trends and audience insights.
