About the position

The Vice President of Sales and Revenue Operations at Consensus Cloud Solutions is a senior leadership role responsible for building and leading the sales operations function. This position will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will collaborate closely with senior leadership across sales, marketing, and services to enhance the performance and efficiency of go-to-market functions. The VP will design and implement processes, tools, and technologies to help sales teams achieve revenue and margin targets effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales strategy and objectives.
  • Own key operations functions including governance, sales planning, analytics, and reporting.
  • Develop annual sales plans, quotas, and budgets aligned with corporate goals.
  • Assess and refine sales processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to measure team performance.
  • Analyze consumption data and churn reasons to improve customer retention.
  • Evaluate and manage sales technologies and CRM systems to support operations.
  • Design and administer competitive sales compensation plans.
  • Develop and manage forecasting and lead-to-cash pipeline management governance.
  • Manage deal desk functions including RFP management and contract management.
  • Develop and maintain sales training programs for skill enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of proven experience in senior go-to-market/sales/revenue operations.
  • 10+ years of leadership responsibility in SaaS/Cloud Services.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement revenue operations strategies.
  • Experience in sales planning processes including quota setting and territory management.
  • Expertise in streamlining sales processes and deal desk operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
