About the position

The Vice President of Sales at Suddath plays a crucial role in advising the internal Client Solutions team and consulting with potential clients. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve organizational revenue goals, identifying new market opportunities, and leading a dedicated sales team. The VP of Sales will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the President of Sterling Lexicon, ensuring that client needs are met through tailored solutions and strong relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee the Client Solutions Directors to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and training to the sales team, supporting their professional growth.
  • Act as an advisor to Client Solutions Directors ensuring service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain trusted advisor partnerships with clients, aligning services with their mobility programs.
  • Identify barriers to program growth/success and develop effective strategies based on client research and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
  • Attend industry/networking events to demonstrate Sterling Lexicon's capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a VP of Sales, Sales Director, or similar role in a Relocation Management Company.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full range of mobility services.
  • Experience in selling complex HR solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strategic working relationships internally and externally.

Nice-to-haves

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • CRP or GMS certification preferred.
