About The Position

The Vice President of Table Games at MGM Resorts International is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Table Games department. This role involves overseeing staffing, guest service initiatives, employee engagement, and ensuring the profitability of the department while aligning with state regulations and company policies. The position focuses on fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency within the Table Games department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Hotel Administration, or a related field, or equivalent extensive management experience in a Gaming Resort complex.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in directing and managing employees in Table Games operations.
  • Strong change management expertise with a proven ability to lead teams through transformation.
  • Extensive leadership experience with a focus on operational performance and employee development.

  • Experience in a high-volume integrated casino resort environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational excellence skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive employee engagement and exceptional guest service within the Table Games department.
  • Collaborate with the Gaming Center of Excellence to develop annual business plans and improve gaming operations.
  • Oversee staffing, team member development, performance management, and policy enforcement.
  • Ensure efficient game placement and appropriate table mix for optimal performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments to enhance guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Recommend continuous improvements and implement strategies to boost productivity and reduce costs.
