About the position

The VP, Wealth Program Manager at HarbourVest is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the Wealth business through digital transformation and process improvement. This role involves developing a three-year roadmap, implementing technology solutions, and managing change to ensure successful adoption of new operational models. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive transformation and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Wealth leadership to identify opportunities for transformation through process improvement and technology implementation.
  • Lead analysis of client and internal value chains to catalog business processes and develop business cases for new processes.
  • Manage execution of approved initiatives to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Communicate transformation initiatives to senior leadership through various channels.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to deploy business intelligence tools.
  • Manage Wealth Key Performance Indicators and develop action plans to ensure efficiency savings and achievement of business plans.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of Business Process Engineers and IT Project Managers.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of proven experience in Financial Services or Consulting, preferably at a large institution.
  • Proven track record in leadership roles in Finance or Consulting, with Asset Management experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in delivering sophisticated, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive decision making and link operating performance to long-term objectives.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as data sourcing, visualization, and process automation.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, and ADKAR (or equivalent) certifications desired.
  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or equivalent experience.
