Loyola University Chicago (LUC) is seeking a Vice Provost of Institutional Research and Analysis to lead the university's efforts in utilizing data to enhance decision-making and strategic planning. This position is pivotal in advancing the university's mission through robust data analysis and informed decision-making processes. The Vice Provost will report directly to the Provost and will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of institutional research, including survey research, university assessment, compliance reporting, and data governance. The role is designed to ensure that the university's operations and future strategic plans are aligned with sound analytical data, promoting continuous improvement across the institution. The Vice Provost will manage a team of experienced professionals in research and data administration, overseeing a complex array of projects with competing deadlines. This leadership role requires collaboration across the university to identify and prioritize research and assessment initiatives that support critical areas such as enrollment planning, faculty workload, instructional costs, and program evaluation. The Vice Provost will leverage data to provide insights and recommendations that enhance university operations, planning, and quality improvement, ultimately strengthening the learning outcomes for a diverse student body. In addition to leading institutional research efforts, the Vice Provost will play a key role in fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making at LUC.
