About the position
Victory Church is seeking a Worship Pastor who will play a pivotal role in leading the worship experience at our church, which has a rich history of over 35 years in ministry. The church has recently undergone a significant renovation, including a multi-million dollar AVL upgrade, enhancing our auditorium with a large LED wall and a new audio system. Located in Lakeland, FL, a friendly mid-size city recognized as the 'All American City,' Victory Church serves a vibrant community of approximately 3,000 attendees each week. Our mission is to reach lost people and create an atmosphere where individuals can encounter God through worship. The Worship Pastor will be responsible for providing visionary and pastoral leadership to the worship team, overseeing worship staff and teams across both our North and South campuses. This role requires a strong emphasis on service planning for our Sunday and Wednesday services, ensuring that each gathering reflects our commitment to ministry excellence and the sensitivity of the Holy Spirit. The worship experience is not merely a performance; it is designed to facilitate a fresh encounter with God, making it essential for the Worship Pastor to lead with a spirit-filled approach that resonates with a multi-generational congregation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional musical proficiency, vocal ability, and platform leadership skills. They will also have a high capacity for creative planning and the development of leaders within the worship ministry.
