VVS King & Co. is seeking a proficient Video Content Creator/Social Media Manager to join their team in Chicago. This role focuses on creating engaging, high-quality content for social media and the company's website, with an emphasis on digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for compelling content and a strong understanding of how to resonate with the target audience.

Responsibilities

• Consistently develop and create engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
• Utilize camera skills to concisely create and edit video content of in-store jewelry, customer interactions, and overall ambience of VVS King.
• Collaborate with the team to create effective content strategies that align with business goals.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of information presented in all posted materials.
• Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and search rankings.
• Manage and update content on our website using content management systems.
• Utilize videography/graphic design skills to enhance content with visuals where necessary.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new content initiatives.
• Monitor social media channels and engage with audiences through compelling posts and responses.
• Support videography efforts by scripting video content that aligns with our brand messaging.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Creator/Social Media Manager or similar role with a strong portfolio of published work of video content.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices and digital marketing techniques.
• Familiarity with CSS and basic graphic design principles is a plus.
• Experience in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies and tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
