About the position
Alloy Silverstein is excited to offer a paid marketing internship focused on video and media for motivated and creative students. This internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in marketing, media, film/video production, graphic design, or communications. The position is part-time, requiring approximately 10-20 hours a week, and will be based at our Cherry Hill, NJ office. Interns will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the accounting, tax, and payroll fields while working closely with our marketing department. The intern will assist with various aspects of video production, including recording, content creation, and social media marketing duties. Ideal candidates should be familiar with video marketing best practices for platforms such as YouTube and other major social media networks. This role will involve providing support for Alloy Silverstein's digital media projects, aiding in the recording of footage, and assisting in the planning and creation of video content aimed at branding, education, recruiting, and business development. In addition to video production, the intern will evaluate video performance and analytics to make recommendations for future video plans, contribute to the firm's social media strategy, and handle miscellaneous marketing and business development administrative tasks. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for students to apply their skills in a real-world setting and to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of support to Alloy Silverstein's digital media projects
- Aid in recording footage at our Cherry Hill, NJ or Hammonton, NJ office location as needed
- Assist the Marketing Department in planning and creating video content for YouTube and different social media networks for purposes of branding, education, recruiting, and business development
- Evaluating video performance and analytics to make recommendations for future video plans
- Contribute to firm's social media strategy, direction, and growth
- Miscellaneous marketing and business development administrative tasks
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program at a local college/University
- Practical experience with Adobe Creative Suite, YouTube, major social networks, and Microsoft Office applications
- Skilled in recording video content using a smartphone or camera
- Proficiency in video setup/production, editing, and knowledge of digital multimedia
- Be a team player to work alongside the Marketing Department to brainstorm, plan, and execute video projects to completion
- Creativity and graphic design skills are a plus
- Ability to bring the Marketing department's ideas and storyboards to life through filming and editing
- Brings enthusiasm to the office to inspire our accounting and payroll team on filming days
- Keeps a pulse on timely video marketing trends
- Possess time management skills and ability to multi-task
