About the position

As the Video Content Lead at Seam, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our brand through innovative video content. This contract position requires a creative individual who can take charge of all video content initiatives, ensuring that our messaging resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with the CEO, product, engineering, and sales teams to develop engaging, on-brand videos that effectively communicate our brand's story and values. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire video production process, from concept development to final production, ensuring that each piece of content aligns with our marketing goals and brand identity. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive video content strategy that supports Seam's marketing objectives. You will lead the end-to-end production of video content, which includes scriptwriting, filming, editing, and post-production. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure that video content aligns with product launches and marketing campaigns. You will also manage the video content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality videos that support ongoing marketing initiatives. Data-driven decision-making will be a key aspect of your role, as you will utilize analytics and performance data to refine video content strategies, optimizing for engagement and brand impact. Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in video content creation will be crucial, as you will be expected to bring new ideas and techniques to the team. This position is based in San Francisco, and we are currently not considering remote candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive video content strategy aligned with Seam's brand identity and marketing goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end production of video content, including concept development, scriptwriting, filming, editing, and post-production.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in video content creation, with experience across a variety of content types including long form content and short form content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), camera operation, lighting, and sound design.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
